About this Project

The Smart Shoe Prototype explores hands-free workout tracking through a projected interface controlled by subtle foot movements. This interactive simulation demonstrates how users could navigate health metrics and workout controls without using their hands.

Smart Shoe – Health & Fitness Prototype

A Hands-Free Workout Experience

This interactive prototype simulates a smart shoe interface designed for hands-free workout tracking. The actual product projects a UI onto the ground and allows users to interact using subtle foot tilts instead of touch. This simulation uses keyboard input and cursor movements to represent those gestures.

Purpose

This is a proof-of-concept for usability testing and design evaluation. The prototype aims to:

  • Understand how users interact with a projected interface from a smart shoe
  • Test navigation through health and fitness features using foot movements
  • Gather user feedback on the hands-free workout experience
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the projected UI design

Workout Tracking

Track steps, heart rate, and calories in real-time

Foot Gestures

Navigate using intuitive left, right, and forward tilts

Progress Visualization
